(More customer reviews)I suppose this would reduce use in some houses, but if you think that "water pause" feature means the water will stop flowing when you engage it, you won't be happy.
The package proudly highlights the Water Pause as ultimately conserving: "It can be used at any point to pause the water flow, allowing you to conserve water while you lather, shave, or shampoo".
However, in the folded up instructions (after it tells you how to install) the pause setting is explained. It claims it cuts the flow to a half gallon a minute. It seems about the same rate as the spray nozzle at our kitchen sink going hard. That is not a pause.
I talked to Water Pik and they said they would be changing the packaging. OK. They should. They are a reputable company with excellent products and the package clearly overpromises here.
Our old head is back in place. It cuts off the water MUCH more effectively without a special button. You just turn the dial and stop between spray settings.

It is, in my view, the best value for the money. Steady water stream and it yields a most comfortable shower. If you want a zizmo shower head, one that does many things, this one is not the one for you however if you seek an excellent customary shower head with exceptional value, I highly recommend the Speakman brand.

Alden 8440P Pro Grabit Broken Bolt and Damaged Screw Extractor 4 Piece Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I recently took down a metal gazebo on my deck. The 2.5" deck screws that held the gazebo in place were stripped and the tops were rusted. I tried every tool I had to remove them and they wouldn't even budge. I was afraid they'd never come out and I'd have to shave them down. After ordering the 4-piece Grabit tool, I read the instructions and within 5 minutes I had extracted all of the deck screws. I was overjoyed!!!
After that, I immediately went inside the house to extract two very small & stripped screws that were in a bedroom wall. It took two turns of stripping and extracting the screws, and then Viola! Worked again!
Best $20 I ever spent on a tool!
TIPS:
A. Use eye protection and gloves. When drilling out the screw, it generates a lot of small metal slivers which can fly out and could get into you eyes. They're small enough to stick into your skin as well, so wear heavy gloves. Make sure you clean-up afterwards or you could step on them.
B. Read the directions. I think some of the other people who reviewed this product didn't read the directions and just tried to muscle it (hence the melted extractor bit).
C. Go S-L-O-W. Use a variable speed drill and go as slow as possible. Also, set the torque on your drill to the most powerful setting so it doesn't "click" when it meets resistance.

Also, the joints are not strong enough for my heavy, brass showerhead. It's fine for me, but if someone taller needed to adjust the height up, it would not stay due to the weight of the showerhead.
Overall, it works. But I think I should have spent my money on a 12" fixed arm.

(More customer reviews)Less than 2 months after installation, this unit will not turn off. It has burst PEX tubing three times due to the overheat condition, and started to smoke and sizzle multiple times.
It will *not* turn off even with both in and out water valves closed, and we have to flip the breakers to render it safe.
That of course means no hot water -- kind of why we bought the unit to start with.
The company is using every excuse in the book to not honor the warranty. They want me to a) hire a technician (at my expense) to troubleshoot the item on site, b) install copper tubing (also at my expense - despite being reminded water hot enough to melt PEX is too hot for skin), c) move the setting to low (meaning lukewarm water), and send them a $100 deposit which upon return of the defective unit, at their discretion, they might refund "if the unit does in fact requires warranty service".
An honorable company would send a new unit and an RMA for the defective one, not seek to place blame (however illogical) on the purchaser. Nor should I be required to do field repairs on the pressure switch (or pay a pro) on a $200 item.
I am being given the run-around, talking to person after person, and the company is using every possible excuse to wiggle out of honoring their warranty.
The unit is unsafe at this point, and represents a fire, flooding, and/or serious scalding risk.
A new unit may or may not have these risks, but I can't be sure BECAUSE THE COMPANY WON'T SEND ME ANOTHER ONE despite the unit being only 2 months old and their "troubleshooting" requires *ME* to spend more on technicians than the original purchase price of the unit.

Bricor B100 Super Max Showerhead Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased one of these directly from Bricor for the same price (if you purchase from them directly and you know your water pressure they'll adjust the head so it will flow its rated capacity at your water pressure). I saw some reviews of various Bricor shower heads online and they were generally positive. I replaced a good 2.5 GPM shower head that had worked well and was better than most "low flow" shower heads I had used. This Bricor is much better even though it uses only 1 GPM vs. 2.5 GPM of my old head. The vacuum flow actually works. There is a little vacuum port on the side where air is sucked in and if you cover it the flow feels a lot less. Basically the 1 GPM shower head feels like it is flowing more water than my previous 2.5 GPM head and it does NOT cool down the water nearly so much. With my older shower head I had to run the shower all the way on hot (water heater is set to 120 degrees) to get the temperature I desired. With this shower head I run 2/3 - 3/4 hot. Bottom line is this is an expensive shower head (they do have cheaper ones) but in my case it will have paid for itself based on water and water heating costs within six months. After that it will be saving me about $160/year. Not bad.

Rainshower 4 Spray Hand Shower Review

(More customer reviews)I wanted a rainshower hand-held shower head, and this product is a perfect solution. It is very well made and provides a wide, even flow of water. The adjustment for other spray types is smooth and the water pressure is fine.
This is the shower head only; you will need to buy the hose and coupling separately.
The opening is a standard 1/2" male threaded end. While there are hoses available from Grohe, much less costly options are available. I used this on the hose and hardware from my former shower unit (also bought on Amazon): Waxman 8679200 5-Spray Distinctives Handheld Showerhead, Chrome. I wrapped the male end in teflon plumbers tape. So far, I have not seen any leaks.
If you don't mind the price, this shower head is a very good product.
