The knob used to adjust the height is easy to turn (good for mother-in-law with arthritis) and very smooth operation (slides up and down easily without leaving any scratch marks). You will easily pay 2-3 times this amount for the quality. Very clean sleek appearance. Installation was very easy - took around 20 minutes. Very pleased with this product and would recommend to anyone looking for a slide bar.
