(More customer reviews)I typically like to wait 6 months to one year to write a review so I can give feedback after using a product for some time. I had this diverter installed approximately one year ago as part of a master bath renovation. We use it to switch the water flow between a stationary shower head and a handheld. We use it daily. For the first two or three months the device worked flawlessly. In the down position the water flows to the stationary shower head, to divert it you pull up on the knob. As I said, for the first couple months we could easily pull the knob up, then slowly over time it got more and more difficult. It is now at the point where I have to use two hands to pull it up, I use one hand to brace the pipe and the other hand to pull as hard as I can on the knob to get it up. It still goes down easily. I've even taken it off and flushed it out to ensure there was no debris in it, I squirted a little WD-40 around the knob, still no help.
I notice the other two reviewers do not mention this problem and I wonder if after time they have experienced what I have or maybe mine is defective. I am going to order another one to test it out.
