After much research I decided on the Kauai Retro-Fit Shower System from Pulse, even though there were some bad reviews. Upon receiving the Kauai I found that it was well built with chrome plated brass tubing and a minimum of plastic parts. It installed very easily with o-rings and set screws as opposed to threaded fittings. This is actually the Kauai II and has been redesigned, I think most of the reviews are on the original Kauai that had fine thread fittings. The diverter valve worked perfectly, contrary to many reviews. I would definitely recommend this shower system to anyone who wants to use their existing shower valve and not change out their plumbing.
