You turn on the water and this showerhead will automatically reduces the flow to a trickle when the water gets hot. When you pull the cord the shower starts again--with hot water. How many times have you turned on the shower, and stepped away while the water gets hot? One thing leads to another, and by the time you get back to the shower, there have been 5 minutes of hot water running down the drain. With the Evolve showerhead, I can shave, lay out my clothes, make my bed, etc. without wasting the hot water. I did not rate it 5 Stars simply because the "aerated" setting is still a little too strong. I was expecting the aerated setting to be more like the gentle and ropey feel of other showerheads with the same setting.
