(More customer reviews)Yes it is true that this item does not come with the shower valve, that is why it is called TRIM. All plumbing fixtures are sold 2 ways... with the valve, or without. This item was depicted correctly & the previous rater should have done her homeowork, if she didn't undestand what she was buying. KOHLER's website gives all of the detailed information on their items. I'd recommend checking out their specifications sheet &/or talking with a plumber if you are not sure about what you are buying.
