(More customer reviews)We had to resort to this kind of hand-held shower upon moving into a cheap motel with a tiny soldered-on shower head. While this model has a better diverter than the rubber gasket ones, preventing leakage and slip-offs, the lightweight plastic nozzle is the same as that on the portable type, and tends to break where the hose attaches to the neck when used on an ongoing basis. We've thus had to replace it every six months to a year, bringing the price up to that of a quality shower set. This time, we're trying reinforcing the neck with water-resistant tape; hopefully that will extend its life another few months. We've been told that using the included wall bracket, rather than letting the hose hang between rinses, might help, too, in that it stops the nozzle from banging against the wall and cracking the plastic. However, we can never get the bracket to stay mounted on suction alone; it must be glued on.
