(More customer reviews)I was not sure how this shower head would work in replacing our 2.5 gpm shower head but I wanted to save water so I made the leap. I'm glad I did. We haven't missed a beat. Overall there was very little noticeable difference from our previous shower head. Measuring the flow of our previous shower head it was putting out a little less than 2.5 gpm probably about 2.25 because of some scale that had built up. The Niagra Earth massage showerhead seems to be putting out just slightly over 1.25 gpm. The stream is slightly more forceful than our previous shower head but not disagreeably so and in fact we appreciate that is is a bit more forceful.
