(More customer reviews)This diverter tub spout with hand held shower extension is very easy to install and took less then 5 minutes. My previous tub spout had a cheaper plastic hand held shower thread that broke off (Danco brand). This replacement is longer (6.5 inch length) and has a metal hand held shower extension that should be much more durable. The set includes attachments if the wall threaded pipe is not the 0.75 inch diameter type. You should use a bit of teflon tape on the threads to ensure a tight connection (also included). The replacement spout installed easily and worked right away. The only negative that I can say about the item is that a small trickle of water still comes out of the spout when the diverter is lifted to redirect the water up to the shower head. All tub spouts cannot completely seal out the water out of the spout when it is redirected up the shower anyway. This model should last much longer than the previous Danco brand.
